GANDHI JAYANTI CELEBRATION

The ballet named 'Gandhi- the father of nation' was organised in our nursery wing. The whole ballet was based on the treatment given to the Indians in the massacre of Jallianwalah Bagh and how Gandhi Ji using his two main weapons non violence and satyagrah-strengthened the unity of Hindus & Muslims and fought against The British Government. His moral values like simplicity ,commitment to the cause and truthfulness attracted the students.

VAN MAHOTSAV CELEBRATION
 
Van mahotsav is an annual Indian tree planting festival occuring for a week in the month of July. During the event millions of trees are planted. Following the same our school teachers, students parents and grand parents planted trees in the school yard.
School Chairman Shri I.P Aggarwal, Principal Dr. Mamta aggarwal and students of different classes also took the initiative and planted trees.
Chairman Sir explained the importance of clean environment and told them that everyone should plant at least five saplings during his/her lifetime and encourage others to plant as well.
It was a wonderful occasion and new beginning to promote nature's conservation.
 
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
 
The spirit of patrotism was seen at its best in RAMAKRISHNA SENIOR SEC. SCHOOL on the occasion of ‘62nd year of India's Independence’. The programme commenced with unfurling of the national tri-colour by the Priincipal Madam, Dr. Mamta aggarwal. This was followed by patriotic song ‘Mera Desh Rangila’. The school buzzed with the feeling of partiotism through out the day.
Tiny tots were dressed up as Pt. Jawahar lal Nehru and Mahatma Gandhi. The programme came to an end with singing of national anthem.
 
DIWALI CELEBRATION
 
Inspired by the Principal Madam, Dr Mamta aggarwal who takes responsibility and gets herself involved in working toward a sustainable future, students decided to celebrate Diwali this year, in a different way by ‘saying no to crackers’
They prepared posters and banners and displayed and carried this message to the common people.
A rally was organised in Vikas Puri, M Block for the welfare of masses and to cope with the requirement of the fast changing world.
Students took pledge to be more disciplined and judicious in celebrating the festivals that makes the environment polluted.
The Principal Madam, addressed her concern by saying that it should be made a continuous practice.
 
CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
 
Christmas was celebrated at Ramakrishna school with immense happiness, joy and enthusiasm …
Christmas celebration included various traditions such as the arrival of Santa claus, display of the Christmas scene Chritmas trees and exchange of cards and wishes among the Ramakrishna family.
The day was also the last day of regular school and thus provided a finality to the brillant academic session 2008 – 09,
The day ushered in the spirit of christmas and New Year.
 
 
REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION
 
Republic day was celebrated with traditional fervour at Ramakrishna Sr. Sec School. There were many spectacular performances by the students. Principal Dr Mrs Mamta Aggarwal after hoisting the tricolour stressed the inculcation of true patriotic feelings amongst the children and urged the students to be truthful and devoted to the cause of national integration.
Commendable perfomances included physical education demonstration Bharatnatyam presentation, patriotic songs and pyramid formation.
