FROM HOME TO HOME AND HEART TO HEART, FROM ONE PLACE TO
EVEN IN THIS PANDEMIC STAYING FAR APART CHRISTMAS WILL
BRING US ALL TOGETHER.
Christmas is celebrated on December 25 and is both a sacred religious holiday and a worldwide cultural and commercial phenomenon. People around the world have been observing it with traditions and practices that are both religious and secular in nature.
Christians celebrate Christmas Day as the anniversary of the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, a spiritual leader whose teachings form the basis of their religion.
Christmas 2020 will be very different from all the previous years because of the ongoing pandemic. Though outside celebrations are not encouraged, to keep the celebration spirit intact, sitting at home and to promote religious harmony – a concept that indicates that there is love and affection among different religions in India, RKS has decided to organise certain activities:
Class I – IV :Prepare a card on Christmas, depicting various Christmas Symbols (Santa Claus, Christmas tree, snowman, etc.). Also write a Christmas Carol on it and gift the card to your loved ones.
Class V – VIII :Celebrate Christmas with your friends and relatives virtually and make a video of the same of less than 1 minute. Upload the same.
Class IX – XII :Write a paragraph in 100-120 words casting light on the difference between Christmas celebrations before and after pandemic.
Below is the link where the different activities are to be uploaded.
Last date of submission: December 31, 2020.
