LET’S CELEBRATE THE FESTIVAL OF HARVEST WITH THE ONSET OF SPRING

AND REJOICE TOGETHER STAYING AT HOME WITH HAPPINESS AND ENTHUSIASM

The festivals of Lohri and Makar Sankranti hold great significance as they mark the harvest of the Rabi Crops and the intensity of winter days. The celebrations offer thanks for making a bounteous harvest possible. It is all about togetherness, great food and singing and dancing around a huge bonfire.

 Lohri and Makar Sankranti are exceedingly auspicious days as they are celebrated with  joy  and the spark of life. RKS wishes you all to have peace, health and prosperity. May this festival of zeal and verve fill your life with lots of energy and enthusiasm that bring ultimate prosperity to you. To rejoice the onset of the harvest and spring, RKS has decided to organise certain activities:

TOPIC: LOHRI AND MAKAR SANKRANTI

Class   I – IV    : Prepare a dance video on Lohri Celebration of less than 2 minutes and upload it.

Class V – VIII  : Design an illustrative poster on an A4 sized sheet and also write a slogan.

Class IX – XII  : Write a paragraph in 100-120 words casting light on the significance of Lohri and Makar Sankranti with suitable images.
