              Ramakrishna Senior Secondary School organized virtual activity on Hindi Diwas

Being one of the most diverse nations in the world, India is a place where numerous traditions, customs, religions and languages flourish. And among all the languages, Hindi is considered the chief as well as the widely spoken in India.

Hindi got an exalted status in India on September 14, 1949, when it was adopted as the official language of the country. Since then September 14 is celebrated as Hindi Diwas to pay tribute to the official language of India. Today, Hindi enjoys the status of Rashtra Bhasha. In today’s highly commercialized environment ,where people are forgetting their roots, Hindi Diwas plays a significant role. The celebration of Hindi Diwas stands as a patriotic reminder to Indian population of their common roots and unity. 

On this occasion, Ramakrishna Senior Secondary School virtually organized a speech activity to mark the importance of our national language. 

MannatBakshi of class VIII delivered a speech in his virtual class about the dismal state of Hindi language usage in our country. He  stressed the point that somebody who speaks the authentic Hindi language is not the one who is left behind in the society instead is the one who deeps down inside is taking ahead the uniqueness of this beautiful language.

Through his speech, he reminded us of a few interesting facts related to Hindi language. He further highlighted the significance of the language in connecting the citizens of India. He apprised the students that this rich language is the base of many words in other languages too. He also added that Hindi is one of the oldest and the most influential languages in the world and we should take pride in speaking our mother tongue.

In the concluding lines of his speech, he urged the youth of India to come forward and join hands in promoting Hindi language and stay connected for the progress of this language
