Women are very cooperative in any situation. This ability makes them very innovative. No matter how hard is work, women never step back. Women never get scared of any hard work. This makes them strong creatures on the planet Earth. So, it is our utmost duty to respect each and every woman/girl around us instead of exploiting them.

Women are the creator of the nation. To make students understand the importance of women in one’s life and respect towards them, Ramakrishna Senior Secondary School observed the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women through a virtual platform.

Celebrations commenced with a dance performance given by some tiny tots of class 2nd  showing the ways to show respect towards girls/women.

Rakshita Bisht of Class VIII was given the opportunity to deliver a speech in her virtual class on the observance of International Day for the elimination of violence against women. She enlightened all that the idea behind observing the day was to raise awareness of the fact that violence against women and girls is one of the most widespread, persistent, and devastating human rights violations and also there was an urgent need to end violence against women and girls. According to the speaker, violence is a human right violation and brings out discrimination against women and should be nipped in the bud.

The speaker urged everyone to strengthen their commitment towards taking collective action to eliminate the violence against women.

She concluded her speech with a quote:

“The strongest  actions for a woman is to love herself, be herself, and shine amongst those who never believed she could.”
