India won freedom on August 15th, 1947, and became a Republic on the 25th January, 1950. We celebrate Republic Day on January 26th every year as on this day the constitution of India came into effect. It is a red-letter day in the history of our country. To mark this special day, Ramakrishna Senior Secondary School virtually organized various activities. The teachers and the students virtually celebrated this day with great zeal and enthusiasm.
To commence the celebrations, little blooming tiny tots of class 1st presented a scintillating dance on some of the patriotic songs spreading the aura of patriotism everywhere.
Vanshika Singhal, a student of Class VIII, delivered a speech in her virtual class. She shared her views on the celebration of the spectacular day called Republic Day which is filled with the feeling of patriotism and dedication. It is a matter of great pride that India is celebrating its 72nd Republic Day this year.
In her speech, she highlighted the importance of the Constitution and its unique features such as Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic and Republic enshrined in the preamble of the Constitution. One should feel pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of Unity.
All over India, the National flag is hoisted in various Institutions, colleges, and offices. The whole country reverberates with the patriotic fervor while celebrating the day. The entire country was resplendent in the shades of the tricolor.
The speech ended with the message to create a great nation through collective efforts from all individuals.
