Teacher’s Day is celebrated to express gratitude and appreciation for the hard work of Teachers. Teacher’s Day is celebrated on 5th of September every year in India. September 5th is marked by the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and the Teacher’s Day is celebrated in commemoration of his birthday.
Ramakrishna Senior Secondary School virtually celebrated Teacher’s Day with great zeal and zest wherein the students extended their gratitude to every teacher for their selfless service and dynamic support. It was a day filled with lots of excitement, joy and happiness as students were eagerly looking forward to tell their teachers how and why are they special to them.
On this significant day, the little blooming tiny tots of class1 virtually presented a remarkable dance performance to pay tribute to their teachers. All the little munchkins performed so gracefully that they all won the hearts of the audience with their charming expressions.
Sneha Aggarwal, a student of Class XI delivered a speech on Teachers Day through the virtual platform. She called the teachers as the backbone of the society. They spearhead change by shaping and building students’ personality and make them ideal citizens of the country. She concluded her speech by saying that apart from academics, teachers standby with students at every step to guide, motivate and inspire to become better citizen.
