RKS ORGANIZED VIRTUAL ACTIVITY ON INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE AND ILLICIT TRAFFICKING
R K S organizes various activities through Virtual mode as we, at RKS, are committed to the holistic growth of our students. Amidst all the chaos around us, arising due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak, teachers of the school are working an extra mile for the overall development of students.
In our endeavour to hone the various skills of students, regular activities are being held. Ishita Mittal, a student of Class XI, was provided with an opportunity to deliver a speech in an online class on the topic, “International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.”
The speaker in her address highlighted the impact of various kinds of drugs on the human body. She further switched over to the explanation of ways of consuming drugs, that deteriorated the whole human body. Some impacts of drugs include health consequences that are permanent. Not only this, but the daily dosage can also result in a weekend immune system.
She concluded her speech by urging that this evil practice must be stopped and this can only be possible by the combined efforts and support of the people. Every parent should take the responsibility of explaining and making their little ones cautious about this and most importantly more strict laws should be passed regarding its handling and usage.
