A TEACHER PLANTS THE SEEDS OF KNOWLEDGE, SPRINKLES THEM WITH LOVE AND PATIENTLY NURTURES THEIR GROWTH TO PRODUCE TOMORROW’S DREAMS
Teachers seek to inspire students in all aspects of their lives. They give them purpose, set them up for success as citizens of our world, and inspire in them a drive to do well and succeed in life.
September 5, marks the first peak of the lunar cycle after the peak of the solar cycle. The celebration is observed by ritualistic respect to the Guru, Guru Puja. The birth date of the second President of India, SarvepalliRadhakrishnan, 5 September 1888, is being celebrated as Teacher’s Day since 1962.
Teachers bring out the best in students and inspire them to strive for greatness. They impart knowledge, good values, put forth in front of them, modern-day challenges and ways to resolve them.
