‘Education is a human right, a public good, and a public responsibility.’
The fourth International Day of Education was observed on January 24 that marked under the theme ‘Changing Course, Transforming Education’. The purpose of this theme is to strengthen and welcome the revival of education.
Ramakrishna Senior Secondary School organized Speech activity through a virtual platform. Niyati Sharma of Class VI was given the opportunity to speak on the observance of the International Day of Education.
Through her speech, she stated that this day showcase the most important transformations that have to be nurtured to realize everyone’s fundamental right to education and build a more sustainable, inclusive, and peaceful future.
International Day of education is visualized to proclaim that Education comes under the basic needs of every person.
She raised awareness on the key role of quality and relevant education for peace and development worldwide, including its contribution to poverty eradication, environmental sustainability, and building peaceful and resilient societies.
She concluded her speech by stating that we should celebrate the power of education by saying that no one should be deprived of education in this awakening era.
