Janmashtami Celebration at Ramakrishna Senior Secondary School

Festivals are an expressive way to celebrate glorious heritage, culture, and tradition.  They are meant to rejoice special moments and emotions in our lives with our loved ones.

On the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, Ramakrishna Senior Secondary School virtually organized several activities for the fun-filled learning of Indian traditions and to infuse within students, respect for their culture.

The event consisted of group dance performed virtually by the tiny tots of class 2. Students were dressed in the attires of Radha and Krishna. With their laudable performance, they mesmerized everyone. The graceful expressions given by the little and beautiful gopis while performing the dance virtually along with naughty Krishna, marked the event more fun and frolic. There was devotion, creativity, enjoyment and fun altogether.

Anju Vijay of class IX delivered a speech in her virtual class in which she stated that this festival is celebrated with enormous zeal and enthusiasm throughout the country. She further added that whenever there will be dominance of malevolence ‘Lord’ will reincarnate to destroy the evil and save the good.

The sole reason for celebrating this festival was to bring people together in order to strengthen the principles of unity. In the end, students were also told about Krishna’s life and his thoughts.
