“If the farmer is rich, then so is the nation.”

It is well said that a farmer is a magician who produces money from the mud. In order to pay tribute and give respect to our nation’s farmers, Kisan Diwas is observed on 23rd December every year.

On this occasion, Ramakrishna Senior Secondary School organized various activities through a virtual platform.

To commence the event, Shresth Sharma, a student of class 1st,  recited a poem in his virtual class. He recited the poem dressed up as a farmer holding an axe in his hand with his innocent and beautiful expressions.

Abhinav Sajayan of class 2nd delivered a speech in his virtual class. He shared the knowledge of various aspects of farming along with its need and importance. He insisted that farmers deserve appreciation for all the efforts that they make to feed us year-round. Through his speech, he urged everyone to be thankful to the farmers for their hard work and life long struggle.
