Lohri is an extremely popular festival celebrated in the north of India. It is a harvest festival which also marks the end of the winter season. On January 13th 2022, on the auspicious occasion of Lohri, Chetanya Gupta of class X, delivered a speech virtually, conveying the importance of the festival. The speaker apprised that Lohri is celebrated primarily by Sikhs and Hindus and the festival marks the end of the winter solstice and harvesting of the rabi crops. He further added that Lohri is all about delicious food, family, and friends, along with traditional folk songs and dance. People celebrate this festival by spreading fun and laughter all around.
