‘A good teacher is like a candle – it consumes itself to light the way for others.’
The school virtually celebrated Teacher’s Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The students of class II extended their gratitude through their speech and a poem, to every teacher for becoming their lockdown mentors, by supporting them throughout and helped them cope with the online classes. It was a day filled with lots of excitement and ecstasy as students eagerly looked forward to tell their teachers how and why are they special to them. They thanked teachers for their unwavering support for guiding, inspiring and making the students what they are today.
Niyati Sharma, a student of Class VI-A delivered a speech through the virtual platform. She thanked all the teachers who have been working very hard to teach them online. They spearhead change by shaping and building students’ personality and make them ideal citizens of the country. She concluded her speech by saying that apart from academics, teachers standby with students at every step to guide, motivate and inspire to become better citizen.
