REPORT ON WORLD STUDENTS DAY

On behalf of Ramakrishna Senior Secondary School, Palak Kodan, a student of Class XI , was given an opportunity to deliver a speech on the observance of World Student Day.

This day was celebrated in honour of the birth anniversary of former President of India, Late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Dr. Kalam was well known for his insightful lectures to students and motivated them to achieve academic excellence.

The speaker highlighted the contributions of Dr Kalam toward education and his students. Since 2010, the United Nations Organisation (UNO) has marked October 15 as World Student’s Day in an attempt to acknowledge the efforts of Dr. Kalam. She also shared the theme of last year’s world students’ day : ”Learning for people, planet, prosperity, and peace.”

 Through her speech, she shared that Dr. Kalam’s life is truly an inspiration for the young children and inspires them to work hard with dedication and determination.

In the end, the speaker motivated the children  to travel on the path guided by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
