It is dedicated to the generosity and strong-will of all teachers to teach, impart knowledge, and help individuals grow. World Teachers Day is a wonderful opportunity to formally recognize the educators who inspire, challenge, and empower students to reach their potential and achieve outstanding results.
Ramakrishna Senior Secondary School celebrated World Teachers’ Day by organizing a speech activity through the virtual platform. The main aim of the celebration was to pay tribute to the millions of teachers around the world who are working with passion and skill to nurture their students and whose influence on our world is potentially profound.
Manya Goel of class VIII, delivered a speech in her virtual class to pay tribute to teachers for their selfless, dedicated commitment to the teaching profession. She highlighted that teachers are the custodians of learning; they impart knowledge, values, and skills; at their best, they tap into the hopes and talents of young people and help them to grow into productive citizens. She further added that teachers are the cornerstone of students’ future and there’s nothing worth enough to gratify them for their selfless service and commitment.
She concluded her speech with a beautiful quote by ‘Brad Henry’
“A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning.”
