On behalf of Ramakrishna Senior Secondary School, Manmeet Singh, a student of Class IX was given an opportunity to share his views on the observance of World Tiger Day on July29, 2021 through virtual platform.

The speaker through his impressive note made everyone realise the need to celebrate this day annually – to protect the rights as well as raise the status of tigers in order to improve their welfare across the globe.

He insisted on creating a world  wheretigers are recognised as sentient beings and develop a compassionate culture towards them.

He highlighted the fact that the day started off as the way to make the world aware of the plight of this endangered species and today it has evolved into a day to honour it.

He mentioned that our mission should be to celebrate animal life in all its forms. We should build a caring and compassionate approach with the animal kingdom and be thankful for the way they enrich our lives.
