CELEBRATION OF UNITY!
CELEBRATION OF FREEDOM!
CELEBRATION OF PRIDE!
India celebrates Republic Day annually on 26 January, and this year the country will celebrate its 73rd Republic Day to mark the day when India became a sovereign republic.
Republic Day marks the adoption of the constitution of India and the transition of the country to a republic on January 26, 1950.
On this day, the Preamble to the Constitution of India — a statement presenting the key principles of the Constitution — came into effect. The Constitution establishes fundamental rights that are enjoyed by all citizens of this country, regardless of their political beliefs.
This day is celebrated with much pomp and fervour all over India, and RKS also wishes to spread the air of patriotism all around. To contribute to the same, the school has organised certain activities, expecting the students to participate according to their respective clusters.
